El tema de este año es la tecnología y cómo puede empoderar a las niñas para avanzar hacia la igualdad de género, anunció la ONU.

Entre las voces que se escucharon hoy está la primera dama de los Estados Unidos, Jill Biden, que se expresó sobre la proclamación de el día internacional de la niña, asegurando que “siempre empieza con una niña”. Al igual que Biden, la exprimera dama Michelle Obama celebra la promesa y potencial que existe dentro de cada niña.
